Button is from the late 1970's.
 
Young had a direct influence on the music scene in the 60's when he
was with Crosby, Stills Nash and Young generating many great songs.
 
After breaking away from the foursome he created his own sound and a following that would last for decades. As a solo artist he was just as successful as when he was with CSNY.
 
This button had originally had a white background with black lettering. Over the decades a natural discoloration has occurred. the button is still in good shape with some wear and smudging. 
 
 A true survivor button from the era for being over 50 years old.
